We host art exhibits which feature student artists from around the world. One hundred percent of the proceeds from each fundraiser goes toward funding academic and art education for our partner organizations.
Since 2017, Art For Art has funded visual arts programs that have taught children who live in vulnerable communities to think critically and creatively, to observe and analyze, to express feelings and to problem-solve.
In addition to the original artworks it offers at its fundraisers, Art For Art offers artworks produced by the children in the Eastern Cape of South Africa who participate in African Angels' classes in the visual arts. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the sale of original art from the students at African Angels Independent School goes toward supporting academic and visual arts programs for the students.
Art For Art has partnered with Watoto Ministries to provide funding for academic education, family support, and healthcare for over 3,000 people. With a grant from Princeton University, Art For Art is working with Watoto to develop a new visual arts program for its primary school students.
Art For Art has partnered with the international charity African Angels to provide funding for holistic academic and visual arts classes for over 100 students. In addition to providing hot meals, African Angels provides visual arts classes for children who live in communities without electricity, running water, sanitation or suitable housing. These classes teach the students to think critically and creatively, to observe and analyze, to express feelings and to problem-solve.
One of art's most enduring powers is that it can connect people and communities around the world.
