World Central Kitchen is a group which is working across the US to safely distribute meals and activate restaurants to provide for food banks, families in need, and to seniors unable to leave their homes due to COVID-19 through their #ChefsForAmerica program.
The African American community is being severely impacted by COVID-19 at a disproportionately higher rate than other groups. Their mission is to provide education and advocacy for African Americans to reduce the incidence of disease and death from coronavirus.
We are partnered with the international charity African Angels to provide funding for holistic academic and visual arts classes for over 100 students. Their visual arts classes teach the students to think critically and creatively, to observe and analyze, to express feelings and to problem-solve.
We are partnered with Watoto Ministries to provide funding for academic education, family support, and healthcare for over 3,000 people.
